When I save data (loaded from a vts file) as Legacy vtk format, it is written out as vts 5.1 version.
Is it possible to save my data as VTK Datafile version 4.2?
Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I found the answer, and am sharing for the benefit of others who may have similar question.
I found that older version of paraview saves Legacy VTK as vtk4.2 format by default.
I used paraview 5.6.1
