Should the VTPD reader specify what type of dataset is being loaded in? I’m still not 100% sure of all of the details of the partitioned data (need to spend some time on that) but from my understanding it is a partitioned vtkDataSet. If that’s true, in the ParaView Information tab it seems like the user should be able to be shown what type of data type is being held in the partitioned dataset, right? I can see here that it’s some sort of topologically regular grid but can’t tell if it’s an image data, rectilinear grid or structured grid.
