slice along polyline crashes

HI,
Here is a rookie to Paraview.
I use “sources–geometic shape–poly line source” to get a polyline in my VTK flie surface,
the I use the filter ‘Slice Along Polyline’, but Paraview crashes without any message,
my paraview version is 6.0.0-RC1,
What can I do to make it work?
here is my VTK file:

Hi,
I have the same issue with ParaView 6.0.0-RC1 / 5.8.1 / 5.13.2. Paraview crashes when I use the filter “Slice along Polyline”.

On my Ubuntu Paraview 5.11.2 it works.

What might be the issue?

Hello, I have the same issue, under paraview 6.0.1 mpi in a windows 11.

resistivity.vtk (6.4 MB)

line1.vtk (1.6 KB)

I want to slice resistivity.vtk, along polyline line1.vtk. I have tried multiple z locations for the polyline (exact topography, maximum, mean, min, outside… along the volume) with no luck. Could you please advice?
