Unable to render .vtk files in paraview from Ubuntu

Hi,

I am a newbie to using paraview, especially when via Ubuntu… I am encountering a problem where I could not render the vtk files in the application as the RenderView screen remains grey or blank when the relevant file is applied.
I highly appreciate if any expert can share the solution or experience…

Hi,

I am glad that the problem is not on the file. What I did was sudo apt install paraview and when I used it the problem occurred. I will try downloading the linux zip file from the website you provided. Is there any guide for this?

Extract the archive and just run bin/paraview
