Using Paraview with Meta Quest 2/3 or HTC Vive

I would like to check whether Paraview currently supports connection with VR headsets such as Meta Quest 2/3 or HTC Vive. If so, could you please share any guidance or documentation on how to set up and use Paraview with these devices?

Bonjour! Mathieu,

Recently, I tried using the VR feature of Paraview and plan to purchase a headset device.

I have reviewed the official documentation and the .json files under the XRinterface plugin. Currently, the directly supported devices include HP Motion, HTC Vive, Meta Quest 2/3, Valve Index, and MS HoloLens. Among these, HP Motion and MS HoloLens seem to have been discontinued.
I would like to ask, does Paraview support other series of HTC headsets? For example, HTC Focus.

It seems to be a similar technology as the Vive pro2, so I do not think so.

Edit: OpenXR seems to support “Vive Streaming” now, which may work for ParaView, but testing is needed.
