I have generated an unstructured VTU voxel type point data file from a model that utilizes AMR Cartesian grid. At the boundary where the resolution changes, the voxel may have same point index for some of the nodes. ParaView has no issue processing the data, but one thing that confuses me is the number of cells and number of points. In the attached particular output, I have 5896192 points and 6055471 cells. Why do I have more cells than points? If there is no AMR, then for sure number of points should be larger than the number of cells. Did I do something wrong here?
