Why no EGL version to download?

Dear Experts,
I am curious why there is osmesa version for downloading but not EGL version…

It is said EGL version is much better if there are NVIDIA Card on cluster, right?

When using NVIDIA IndeX Plugin, which version is better? osmesa or EGL?
or in fact, NVIDIA IndeX will replace EGL do rendering?

I must have some misunderstand about all these concept, please help me out.

Correct (when using OpenGL).

IndeX Plugin is not using OpenGL at all so you can use the OSMesa version without performance impact.

With 5.9, there will be an EGL version available for download. You can download nightly versions of EGL already.
