Window freeze

Hi,

I just installed Paraview 5.8.0 on my plucky Windows 10 PC. I am a complete beginner, so I open the first example visualisation, the “can”. The GUI looks great. Then in the Pipeline browser, I click “Clip 1” (stuff gets updated), then “Clip 2”.

FREEZE!!!

The image area overlaps the other panes, the top icons are gone, and most stuff (not everything) is irresponsive.

Has anyone seen something like this?

Oh thank you! I will experiment with possibles workarounds today.
A little later: the nightly build works :grinning:
