Your installation doesn't have datasets to load the example visualizations. You can manually download the datasets from paraview.org and then place them under the following path for examples to work:
'/examples'
I got that after trying to click on one of these examples:
After giving up googling "examples" site:paraview.org I decided in a bit of desperation downloading ParaViewTestingDataFiles-v5.13.1.tar.gz which took a while but there is nothing in there that would lead me to believe it belongs under the /examples directory.
