hello,
I make this feature request in the follow up of different UI improvements.
context: a current paraview session with a lot of filters and sources on the pipeline browser. some already shown some hidden.
issue/situation for this improvement to take place: On have a lot of different filters and we want to show them or hide them without modifying the other filters that are already shown or hidden. Currently, what we can do is select the specific filters on the pipeline browser, and hit the eye to show/hide them. the limitations of this, if we select 3 filters to show, and we can see on the pieline browser the 3rd one, and this one is shown, we need to hit the eye to hide the 3 of them and re hit the eye to show them. same thing happens on the oposit, if we want to set them in the same configuraiton that the one we will hit the eye on, we need to do it two times to flip all off and then all on or the contrary. Even outside, of the mentioned case which is clearly an improvement, this could also be used to change the state of a single filter instead of the eye icon which is finicky at best
proposal: the solution is simply follow as other 3D viewing programs such as CAD, which they have ‘Show/Hide’ on the context menu, so the idea would be instead of playing randomly with the eye of the pipeline browser, simply be able to hit left click to open the context menu, and it will have the options ‘Show/Hide’ (new ones) ‘Show all/Hide all’ (existing ones). and when the show is hit, it will show all the selected ones, and opposit with the Hide one.
