Hello everybody,

I would like to have more information about Resample With Dataset filter.

I read the topic : plot difference between two slices
But i could not imagine to use the Rename Array and the transform filters.
So the question is : why does exactly the Resample filter? And why do we have to use the rename … and transform filters ?
This is to prevent further errors i could do in the future.
For example, i use the Resample filter directly to compare to systems (same bouds, but differents meshes) in 2D. And that works.
But at that time, i would like to compare two slides coming from the same 3D system, but 2slides with a rotation in between. And using the Resample… does not work.

Hello,
unfortunately this is not possible.
It’s the overall philosophy / way of doing things that interests me.
I know that the best way would have been to apply it to my data.

why does exactly the Resample filter?

It resample data from one dataset to another.

And why do we have to use the rename

To avoid the data with the same name get replace during resampling

transform filters ?

To displace the data for easier visual inspection.
