Feature Request: Exporting Paraview to PGFPlots (WYSIWYM)

Hello,

I am interested in having a utility to export Paraview scenes to a what you see is what you mean (WYSIWYM) type graphics editor like PGFPlots (via TikZ/LaTeX). I am mainly interested in using Paraview to create nice 3D visualizations and then having the ability to customize the axes, labels, legends, titles, and annotations in PGFPlots. The 3D aspect differentiates this request from this existing feature request. This may require rasterizing the 3D visual and then having the other figure elements be vectorized on top of the rasterization.

This feature request is stemming from discussion during ATPESC2024 where a suggested toolchain may be exporting the scene to svg. Then using a tool like svg2tex to convert the svg into LaTeX.

The main existing tool I have in mind and that I am basing this request of off is tikzplotlib for generating PGFPlots/TikZ from Matplotlib.
