This webinar will happen in April and be focused on running Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) using only LiDAR data with LidarView.
LiDAR sensors become more and more popular and affordable, producing reliable and high fidelity 3D pointclouds in challenging environments. To easily receive, record, visualize and process LiDAR data, Kitware has developed LidarView, a Paraview based application specifically designed for LiDAR data processing. SLAM is a powerful functionality available in LidarView, allowing you to jointly estimate the trajectory of a LiDAR sensor moving in a feature-rich scene and build a 3D map of the surrounding environment.
During this up to 30 minutes session, you will be able to follow our explanations and hands-on demonstrations. You will also be able to interact with the presenter via the chat to ask questions or precisions.
