I’ve seen this example where someone could put flagpole text on arbitrary data set Point labels available with PV 5.7?
However, I would like to automatically update flagpole text to the minimum and maximum locations of a scaler field much like a commercial finite element post processor does. I would also like these values to show up on the color bar/legend.
When the field changes, I would like these values to automatically update.
I’ve tried things like find data or Max and min values but it is extremely slow. I’ve used the spreadsheet view to extract points after sorting columns, But this is very inefficient and does not dynamically update when the field changes.
Is there a way to do this in ParaView or do I have to write my own trame app to do this? ParaView offers so much so I would hate to have to re-create all of that in another app just to get this feature.
Not having this limits, the rate of adoption for structural engineers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
