need help on ParaView startup

This looks like a known issue with a particular version of the Intel graphics driver. (See, for example this bug or numerous other discussions on this site such as this one.)

The simplest solution is usually to update your Intel graphics driver to the most recent version.

Ken and @avshalom_mor, I had this issue with my personal Dell laptop. The latest Intel drivers did not resolve this issue. Howeverm rolling back to the original drivers (from a year and a half ago) did work. Moral is to try older drivers if the new ones don’t work.

In my case (desktop) it (updating driver) worked perfectly.
