Is there any way we can open fluent results in ParaView ? I tried exporting as ensight gold case format and open it in paraview but end up with an error.I also removed the last two lines in the .encas file and the the double quotes but still get the same error. I used ensight reader to read the .encas file.

In newer versions of Fluent, in EnSight case files (*.encas), the file names are now enclosed in double quotes, which seems to be causing the failure in ParaView. In addition, the SCRIPTS entry needs to be removed.
Therefore, in the encas file, the following red characters need to be removed.
[encase]
Try this-
delete all ensight gold files you have created.
open your fluent case, write a new case and data file as - “curveTENode”
close fluent and open the new case and data and export it as ensight gold format. select binary and nodal options
when exporting from fluent, when the prompt comes to save file, clear the bar where file name is put in and type “curveTENode” there
save the file in the location you want
rename the file extension to “.case” and open in paraview
let me know if it work…
I followed the steps in these two links but it doesnt seem to work. Between I am doing a transient simulation and it has particle data.

Would also like to know if you were able to open new.encas file which has the particle data
This is the error I get when I open it in V 5.12.0
note: I was able to open the .encas file

Hey Harsha,
I’m facing the same issues as well. Could you walk me through how you fixed it?
Thank you!
