ParaView 5.12.0-RC1 is available for download

The ParaView team is very happy to announce that ParaView 5.12.0-RC1 is available for download at:

https://www.paraview.org/download/

In addition, ParaView’s git repository and superbuild repository have been tagged with v5.12.0-RC1 and Spack package manager is being updated to include this new release.

Much of the documentation including tutorial, guides, references, and examples have been updated as well to reflect the new features included in this release.

Preliminary release notes are available here .

Thank you for great news! Regarding supporting STEP files, I’m curious, which STEP standards did you support? Have you supported graphical and semantic PMIs perhaps?

We are using OpenCascade to read STEP files which seems to support all files we tried. Coloring is supported indeed.
