I am using a 64-bit Windows system and have installed ParaView 5.13.2. However, every time I open the software, I can only see a message dialog box, and nothing else appears on the screen. After that, the software crashes.
Initially, I suspected that the issue might be due to a missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, so I installed the latest version. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the problem.
I have attached a screenshot showing the message that appears when opening ParaView. Could anyone please advise on what actions I should take to resolve this issue?
@cory.quammen , could you please help me with this?
Previously, I encountered this issue on my Lenovo laptop, where I switched the GPU mode using the Legion Zone software, and it was resolved after rebooting. However, now I am using a different desktop machine (server) with an RTX 4090 GPU, which has higher computational power. I am unsure how to configure the settings for it. Could you please provide some guidance on how I should set it up?
Thank you for your suggestion! I have used “Lenovo PC Manager” to check and update the GPU drivers, and it shows that all drivers are up to date. Additionally, since my work involves CUDA computations, I ensured that the GPU drivers were properly installed and updated during the CUDA installation process.
If there are any specific checks or steps I should try, please let me know. Thank you for your assistance!
