ParaView 5.9.0 Release Candidate 3 available for download

The ParaView team is happy to announce that ParaView 5.9.0-RC3 (Release Candidate 3) is available for download at

https://www.paraview.org/download/

In addition, ParaView’s git repository and superbuild repository have been tagged with v5.9.0-RC3 and Spack package manager is being updated at this moment to include this new release.

Any estimates for the 5.9.0 release and the 5.9.1 releases? I have a few modifications for the vtkOpenFOAMReader class. Likely too many changes for the 5.9.0 merge window, but would like to get slotted in appropriately.

5.9.0 is all but released at this point, so I do not think so.

In changes going to 5.9.1 (or even in 5.9.0 since the split) would have to be bug fixes and not features.

Hi @mwestphal - sounds pretty much like I figured. I have a mix of bugfix and features. Certainly way too much for 5.9.0 in any case, perhaps can iterate on gitlab to see about picking some bits across for 5.9.1. Unfortunately the bugfix for issues 18081, 18082 is more that a few lines.
