Severe graphical issues in the render view when upgrading to latest 595 NVIDIA driver. Rolled back to 582.16 and both 5.13.3 and 6.1.0-RC1 now work again. Also Optix is not available when using recent driver releases (>582). Running on Lenovo P620 workstation with Windows 11 and RTX A4500.
NVIDIA has confirmation that the workaround resolves the problem, so no need to do this. They want to fix the underlying issue so the workaround is not needed.
@cory.quammen I just wanted to conform that NVIDIA driver 596.36 has fixed the graphical glitches, but OPTIX is no longer available in the list of Ray Tracing Back Ends. I will therefore still have to use the 580 branch. (Using the Dynamic Streaming workaround made no difference to the availability of OPTIX)
I am seeing this issue in Ubuntu 26.04 using NVIDIA 595.58 driver installed from Index of /compute/cuda/repos/ubuntu2604/x86_64 ⦠Xfceā I donāt see an updated driver available (yet) today ā is one expected for Linux / ubuntu 26.04?
