Paraview does not open ElmerGUI vtu result file

Hi, after installing the GIT official Elmer compiled last version and Paraview 5.12 on my Kubuntu 24.04 LTS os, everything went ok except that when opening the vtu results file with Paraview it gives an error message, something like “error parsing XML…”. It seems to be VTK writer compliance problem between Elmer and Paraview. How could this be fixed? Thanks in advance for any help !

Its a known issue that was fixed a long time ago: I cannot read a .vtp file I could open yesterday. Can someone try to open it?

The simplest fix is to use the ParaView binary package from: https://www.paraview.org/download/
