Paraview very slow (openfoam installation)

If I run ParaView (5.6 64 bit) installed with the OpenFOAM installer and run it from the command line it is very slow (rendering .stl or other larges meshes).

I downloaded the precompiled version from the website and that runs very well and appropriately fast.

Any ideas why and how I could fix that? Thanks.

Use paraview from www.paraview.org/download, do not use the one from OpenFOAM.

OpenFOAM version probably does not enable critical optimization component like SMP, maybe rely on mesa for rendering ? tbh this is a question OpenFOAM dev.
