reloading the material data file while paraview is running?

Hello
I really like to render my results in paraview. You can create you own materials, which are stored in a .txt file in your paraview material directory. In order to create nice renderings i ususally manipulate a lot around in the materials settings. Unfortunately the changes in the material .txt file only apply after restarting paraview. Is there a way around that?
