This isn’t in the current feature requests, but seems like a fairly simple one: having the ability to transform textures that are applied to an object with a Texture Map to ‘…’ filter. An example to describe what I mean: In geological models there can different patterns that describe the type of rock being represented, it would be great to be able to import a tiny repeating texture and set the scale so that it is small but repeated and wrapped all the way around the object.
I have used a feature like this in Blender before and it is very helpful. I suspect some advances might need to be made to the filters or UV unwrapping options so that it can be rendered reasonably well without stretching on the sides of objects.
