Title: ParaView shows strange black/white distorted viewport after zooming
Hello,
I am using ParaView on Windows. Recently, the 3D render view suddenly became abnormal. After I zoom or scroll the mouse wheel, the viewport shows a strange distorted black/white image, like large triangular surfaces covering the screen. The model is no longer displayed correctly.
I tried reinstalling ParaView with different versions, but the problem still remains. So I suspect it may be related to the rendering settings, OpenGL, graphics driver, or some corrupted ParaView user configuration.
Here is what I observed:
-
ParaView version: 5.13.3, 6.11
-
Operating system: Windows
-
The problem happens in the render view
-
It often appears after zooming with the mouse wheel or just like that when I open it
-
Reinstalling ParaView did not solve the issue
-
The screen becomes mostly black with large white/grey distorted triangular shapes
I have attached a screenshot of the issue.
Could anyone suggest what might be causing this? Should I try resetting the ParaView configuration, using Mesa/software rendering, or changing OpenGL/graphics driver settings?
Thank you very much.
