I want to share data here, how can I do that ?

For small dataset ( < 10 mB), they can be shared directly here, on discourse, by clicking on the arrow button in the editor.

For bigger dataset, please use google drive, wetransfer or any file sharing website.

Do not forget to share all the data, not the metadata. For example, a .vtm or .pvd file would not be enough, all the associated dataset should be shared as well.

Here is the resolution to my problems: The limit is 10 MB, not 20 MB.

I tried many times to upload my 15 MB file. I tried tar.gz and I tried zip format. The upload indicator would go to 100% and then fail for an unspecified reason (it would be nice if you could tell users why the upload fails).

According to Google AI, “The default upload limit for many Discourse instances is 10 MB.” That was the key.

Correct, max size is 10 Mb, I’ve updated the post.

it would be nice if you could tell users why the upload fails

It says:

Sorry, that file is too big (maximum size is 10 MB). Why not upload your large file to a cloud sharing service, then paste the link?

Looks fine to me

Thanks. The message it kept giving me (after the indicator reached 100%) was “upload failed for an unspecified reason, please try again.”

Im afraid I dont reproduce.

Ok, thanks for checking. (I tried both Firefox and Chrome.)
